New Year’s Resolutions You’ll Want to Stick To

The start of a new year is a common source of motivation to change. Unfortunately, many people set unrealistic expectations for the year ahead and soon find themselves feeling defeated or disappointed. There’s nothing wrong with entering a new year with the desire to change something, but it’s important to be realistic. Setting goals that are achievable will give you more motivation to try to accomplish your goals because you can imagine yourself doing it. Here’s a list of common New Year’s Resolutions that are attainable and that you’ll want to stick to in 2019.

Be more grateful

Make sure that others know that you are thankful for them. Simply saying “thank you” or “I appreciate you” goes a long way. Whether someone has helped you with something or just spending time with them makes your life better, you should make sure they know. Showing gratitude will make others happy and will strengthen your relationships.

Be nicer to yourself

A simple way to be more confident in yourself is to be your own cheerleader. Learn how to accept complements and to recognize when you’ve done a good job. Even when others may not say something or acknowledge them, your personal victories should be celebrated. Stop putting yourself down in moments of failure and try to correct your mistakes by figuring out what you’re doing well.

Appreciate the simple things more

It’s important to appreciate the little things in life. Recognize the small gestures that others make and appreciate the seemingly boring days. Sometimes a slow day is a good thing because it gives us a chance to re-charge. You can find good moments in every day if you take the time to look for them.

Stop procrastinating

Waiting to complete a task until the last minute possible is stressful and oftentimes unnecessary. Try to stay organized and make a schedule for your workload if you struggle with meeting deadlines. You can buy a planner from the store or simply use the calendar on your phone.

Does your site have a contact page? I’m having trouble locating it but,
I’d like to shoot you an e-mail. I’ve got some recommendations for your blog you might be interested in hearing.
Either way, great website and I look forward to seeing it
improve over time. Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?

I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a
difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and
Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking
for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic
but I had to ask! Greetings from Ohio! I’m bored to tears at work so I decided to browse your site on my iphone during lunch break.
I enjoy the information you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home.
I’m surprised at how fast your blog loaded on my phone ..

I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, fantastic blog!
